The Joes invade Castle Destro only to find no one home but the biggest, baddest killer robot ever and the encounter turns deadly for the team. We also pay a visit to the ultra secret Section Zero—COBRA’s arctic lair where Destro must make the M.A.S.S. Device perform or die. And Mainframe and Snake Eyes on a road trip to… Springfield?

Sep 24, 2009Aside from some character design problems and the horrible Scottish accents, this is a pretty solid issue and an entertaining read. There is a nice balance of action and character moments, with the Mainframe/Snake Eyes scenes stealing the issue. It definitely needs some polish, but is otherwise another strong issue for this great series. Read Full Review

Sep 26, 2009As GI Joe continues through the discovery of Cobra the stories get more and more tense but when I look back at this issue there just isn't anything that happens that's memorable. In a recap box I'm not even sure this issue would warrant a sentence that wasn't already in there from the previous issues. That generally isn't a good thing. For the most part it's a good comic with some action and some nice artwork but there just isn't enough in here to jazz anyone up unless they are collecting the series already. Read Full Review
