Two centuries ago, after vanishing for seven years, the starship Event Horizon reappeared near Neptune.     Event Horizon: Inferno #2 continues to build on the nightmare world we find ourselves in. The atmosphere and the uncertainty of what’s to come keeps readers intrigued. The suspense this story creates hooks readers and doesn’t let them go. If you are looking for a great horror book, this is the series for you.     Event Horizon: Inferno #2 expands the mythology in intriguing ways, giving readers more insight into Daniel Durante's twisted motivations while strengthening the connection to the original film through Lieutenant Starck. Christian Ward continues to build an oppressive atmosphere filled with dread and disturbing imagery, though Rob Carey's occasionally confusing visual storytelling can make certain scenes difficult to follow.     Event Horizon: Inferno #2 is a solid second issue that fleshes out the characters providing more details about the lead up to the mission and horror to come. Unlike the film and prequel comic, it doesn’t go for the imagery to make you squirm, though I’m sure that’s coming. It helps the sequel into a direction and territory that feels fresh and something new beyond just scares. Read Full Review
