    Comic Crusaders - Al Mega

    May 29, 2026

Galactic #2 is a killer second issue because it doesn’t just repeat what worked in the debut. It deepens the emotional mess, sharpens the danger, expands the mythology, and ends with a cliffhanger that feels like the universe itself just smirked and said, “You ain’t seen nothing yet.” Pires, Pinna, Loughridge, Myers, and the whole DSTLRY crew are building a sci-fi romance with grime under its fingernails and stars in its eyes. It’s violent, stylish, strange, sexy, and alive. Big WEPA recommendation right here. Get on board now before this ship leaves orbit and you’re standing at the spaceport looking goofy with a cold cafecito. Read Full Review

    Fanlight Zone - Ken M.

    Jun 05, 2026

The writing leans more heavily into the political structures surrounding the murder with many shocking twists. It serves as a great counter to Jecht’s current situation. The escape leads to a new planet with more than meets the eyes. Pires keeps the humor in play while adding more depth to Jecht’s persona. Readers will come away with a stronger connection to the brash hunter. More pieces to the overall puzzle becomes crystal clear, while doubling down on the extreme themes this series is known for. The close presents a few more dynamics in motion. Just when you think you have an idea, Pires shreds those notions into something far more impactful. Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke

Galactic #2 continues to showcase why the series is such an easy read for fans of big sci-fi adventures. Pires keeps the story moving with action, political intrigue, and character-building moments, while Pinna's artwork remains the true star of the show. The romance may develop faster than the story earns, but the issue's energy, visual ambition, and pulpy charm make it a satisfying second installment. Read Full Review
