    Comic Crusaders - Al Mega

This is not a beach read, familia. This is the kind of comic that grabs your flotation device, whispers “good luck,” and sails away laughing. Endeavour is a heavy buy for fans of survival horror, psychological collapse, nautical dread, and comics that are not afraid to ask ugly questions with gorgeous art. The Crusade Never Ends, but this voyage? This one ends with teeth marks. Read Full Review

Terror and trauma claim the innocence of hope in a suspenseful finale. Phillips’ writing takes readers into deep waters with the dangerous struggle to survive at any cost. Laming and Loughridge craft incredible visual that showcase the decent into dire territory. A chilling voyage into the complex areas of human nature & conflict. Read Full Review

    Comic Watch - Theron Couch

Endeavor is a compelling examination of the ease with which children will backslide from civilized to primal behavior in the absence of adult guidance. This story progresses slowly over the first two issues but speeds up considerably in Endeavor #3. There is a lot of urgency behind everything that happens here. Phillips’ two major twists on this idea–the disease and the call of the ocean–offer an interesting perspective. Laming’s high quality art adds a lot of weight to Phillips’s story. Endeavor #3 is a strong final issue and compelling enough to stand on its own with its ideas even absent the first two issues. Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke

Endeavor #3 delivers a satisfying enough conclusion to Phillips and Laming's unsettling survival drama. The series remains at its best when examining how ordinary people react under extraordinary pressure, and the final issue continues that exploration with uncomfortable honesty. Roy's transformation does not always feel fully earned, but the emotional and thematic destination largely works because of the strength of the ideas underneath. Laming's expressive artwork sells every moment of tension, fear, and despair, helping the story maintain its impact through the final pages. By the end, Endeavor leaves readers with difficult questions and no easy solutions, which feels entirely appropriate for a story built around the fragility of civilization. Read Full Review

    ComicBook.com - Nicole Drum

Ultimately, I really like Endeavour #3, but I enjoy it more as a part of the whole than as a single issue. I also feel like there was so much more story that didn’t get a chance to fully be told and much more horror that could have been tapped into, which is a bit of a tragedy in itself as Phillips has truly crafted something unique with this story. That said, the end is shocking and a little disorienting and in a sense, that feels almost like the point of the whole story. The truth about what people are capable of might be the real horror and the real tale of survival here and Endeavour #3 will leave you wondering just what you are capable of as well.
