This Giant is both great value, considering the page count, and great entertainment. It's especially worth seeking out if you want to learn a little extra about both characters. You could say its 'super' and you'd be 'bats' to miss it. Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge

I had a fun time with this book but I had to keep imagining Batwoman as basically almost a teenager in it for it to click. I do think the Supergirl/Batwoman pairing works but not if we get Kate acting younger than she is, which is what feels like happens here too much. There's some fun in the action we get and the time with Alice but I will always have a hard time dealing with a group called the Religion of Crime. Stohl's story gets the job done overall but I'm wary of some of the dialogue. Laura Braga's artwork is spot on throughout and just an utter delight as I really enjoyed her take on both leads and how well it all blends together as a whole work. Combined with Prianto's strong color design for it, it's a really fun opening read overall. Read Full Review

Clearly the success of Kara and Kate's chemistry on CW shows motivated DC to give these two their own series, where they could co-star. Now, it's completely irrelevant if you like their solo TV shows or despise them with passion. All that matters is, these two on screen have undoubtedly great chemistry and compliment each other, being polar opposites. While I don't watch their shows, I gotta admit I like their growing friendship. A lot. Thus when I learned there's a new comic with them, I picked it up out of curiosity, to see what DC cooked this time, taking to consideration Batwoman's been pretty irrelevant since her involvement in Tynion's Detective Comics, while Supergirl writers clearly don't know what to do with her. Taking two pretty more

This is great if you like your superheroes to have the characterization of valley girls, who talk like they're still on an IM while outside. Batwoman, y'know, being a serious military type, would definitely talk like that.
