Sirens: Love Hurts #3
| Writer | Tini Howard |
| Artist | Babs Tarr |
| Cover Price | $5.99 |
The holidays are here, but not every Siren’s feeling the cheer! Sure, Harley and Ivy’s friendship warms to a romance, but Catwoman and millionaire Bruce Wayne go ice cold when Bruce attempts to define the relationship— wasn’t he supposed to be a playboy? And then there’s the matter of Black Canary’s bachelorette party, where the Sirens and the police commissioner’s daughter, Barbara Gordon, are all on the guest list. Tensions ride high…and Gotham’s most elusive serial killer, Horoscope, is happy to cut right through them. Literally.

Get Your Comic On - Michael Brennan
Apr 08, 2026Sirens: Love Hurts #3 feels like the series shifting up a gear. The humour is still very much present, fanfiction, ringtones, Ivy’s withering glances, but the danger is now real, and the emotional stakes are higher than ever. Howard and Tarr continue to strike that rare balance: chaotic and joyful on the surface, with genuine heart and tension running underneath. It is colourful, sharp, funny when it wants to be, and brutal when it needs to be. Completely addictive. This series just keeps getting better. Read Full Review

Comic Watch - Henry Davis
Apr 09, 2026Sirens: Love Hurts #3 is the ultimate issue in this Black Label series, turning up the heat on our characters relationships with one another instead of raising the stakes or exploring the madness behind its main antagonist. While this may dissuade other readers, the heart of this story has always been the dynamics between our main cast and their personal lives, so a continued exploration of that over the cartoonish villainy of Horoscope is a welcomed decision. Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield
Apr 08, 2026Overall, this book really isn’t like anything else at Black Label and I’m not sure it hits 100% of what it’s going for, but the end result is a fun, weird comic that very much has its own vibe. Read Full Review

AIPT - David Brooke
Apr 08, 2026Sirens: Love Hurts #3 thrives on charm, chemistry, and visual storytelling, even when the narrative momentum slows. Tini Howard and Babs Tarr prioritize character interactions and relationships, creating an issue that feels breezy and intimate while still nudging the mystery forward. It may test readers looking for tighter plotting, but those invested in the cast and their dynamics will find plenty to enjoy. Read Full Review
