    Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield

Some huge status quo changes as well as a fantastic stand-alone story for the most misunderstood Green Lantern. Read Full Review

With the fate of the GLC in his hands, Guy Gardner faces his inner emotions in an impactful manner. Hampton showcases much versatility in the writing. The art teamtakes a hugh risk for greater payoffs with the page presentations. This series has been nothing but win! Don’t miss out! Read Full Review

Morgan Hampton and Fernando Pasarin deliver one of the strongest Guy Gardner-focused issues in recent memory with Green Lantern Corps #17. Instead of pushing the larger Emotional Spectrum conflict forward at full speed, the creative team takes a thoughtful detour into Guy’s fractured psyche as the Allsight ability overwhelms him with memories, trauma, and possible futures. Hampton digs deep into Guy’s emotional scars without softening the character’s rough edges, while Pasarin turns the comic itself into an interactive experience with inventive layouts that mirror Guy’s disorientation. The result is a surprisingly emotional and visually ambitious issue that reminds readers there is much more to Guy Gardner than attitude and punches. Read Full Review

Green Lantern Corps’ emotional entity arc started off rough. There wasn’t much urgency behind the plot, and understanding Guy as a character required being familiar with DC K.O.. Hampton has done a good job juicing up the story since then, especially when it comes to examining its central character, Guy Gardner, and Green Lantern Corps #17 is the best issue yet on that score. I really think this issue is somehow too cool. It reminds me the old times when characters had story behind them. The art also is powerful and great. I enjoyed it a lot. I hope both Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps stay this way.
