Sep 29, 2026Three Worlds / Three Moons: Shift expands the universe through two mythic stories about a world caught between science and magic. Jonathan Hickman keeps the narrative relatively simple, letting the strange cultures and ideas around this conflict take shape without overwhelming the reader. The real star is Mike del Mundo, whose imaginative designs make nearly every page worth lingering over. The characters could use more depth, but the eventual connection between the two storylines gives this chapter a satisfying payoff while opening up plenty of possibilities for the larger universe.
