Sep 29, 2026Hellraiser: Resurrections – The Return of the Priest #1 digs into Hellraiser lore with an intriguing look at Elliot Spencer’s return and his desperate need to feel again. Sarah Gailey makes his sensory deprivation genuinely unsettling, giving his transformation a strong psychological foundation. Alessio Avallone and Sara Cuomo bring some appropriately grotesque imagery to the new Cenobites, though the sparse environments can leave parts of the issue looking plain. Once Elliot escapes the mist, his path back to power comes surprisingly easily, taking some tension out of an otherwise compelling resurrection. Read Full Review
